Fragrance packaging
Scent is invisible. The box is not.
Until the first spray, the box is the brand. On the shelf, on social media, long before the bottle is opened. We design and manufacture fragrance packaging built to carry it. From a first perfume box to a full collection.
Discovery sets, rigid boxes for single fragrances, PR kits, folding cartons, bottle fittings, and the bag it leaves the store in. Built as one system, produced in Brooklyn and globally.
From first vial to full bottle.
Most customers meet a fragrance brand three times: the social media post that put it on their radar, the discovery set they ordered to be sure, and the full bottle they committed to. We build all of it to feel like one house.
Discovery Set Boxes
Multi-vial rigid boxes with a precision fitting for every sample, at whatever count the collection calls for. Flap, drawer, or lift-off lids. For many customers this is the first thing they ever hold from you. Built accordingly.
Fragrance Boxes
Rigid boxes and folding cartons built around the bottle, down to its center of gravity. Magnetic, lid-and-base, and sleeve constructions, finished in foil, emboss, or specialty paper.
PR Kits
Press and influencer kits built against a calendar: editorial windows do not move, so we do. Short runs below our standard minimums, sampled and produced to hold the date.
Sample Fittings & Minis
Custom inserts for vials, minis, and sample sprays: press kits, VIP gifting, gift-with-purchase, retail sampling. The small formats carry the same tolerances as the flagship box.
Extending the line into candles? We build candle packaging too.
The bottle decides everything.
Fragrance is the one category where the packaging gets designed around a piece of glass someone else made. So we start there, with the actual bottle in hand, and everything else follows from how it sits.
Bring the ambitious version. Design, structure, and the press are one conversation here, and that is exactly the kind of conversation where the daring option wins.
Fragrance runs on a calendar, and we run on it too. Samples out of our Brooklyn factory in 10 to 15 days, and the launch date holds.
Fragrance projects.
Kept long after the bottle is empty.
Send us the bottle. What comes back is a physical sample you can hold, and a launch date that holds.
Send us the bottle
Premium perfume packaging is typically a rigid setup box with a custom insert that cradles the bottle. Most fragrance boxes carry foil stamping, blind embossing, or specialty papers, with the construction built to protect the glass in transit and open cleanly at the unboxing moment. OFF.PACKAGING builds these with the fitting designed first, around the exact bottle.
Yes, and it is some of our favorite work. Independent and niche houses get the same structural depth as the largest programs we run: fittings built around the exact bottle, sampling in 10 to 15 days, and production in Brooklyn and globally depending on what the project calls for. Limited editions, seasonal launches, and full ongoing collections all run through the same system.
Our standard minimum is 1,000 units across formats. PR kits and marketing campaign packaging are the exception and can run lower. If your launch sits somewhere in between, tell us the numbers and you will get a straight answer.
Every fitting is sized to the specific bottle and tested with the actual product before approval. On request we run transport simulation, drop testing, and vibration testing to validate performance in real shipping conditions. The structure comes first; the visual design is built on top of it.
Pricing depends on box construction, materials, fittings, finishing, and quantity. A rigid setup box with a custom insert and foil stamping for a single fragrance starts from around $3 per unit at production volumes of 1,000 to 5,000 units, and rises with construction and finishing complexity. Discovery set packaging starts in a similar range, driven by vial count and fitting precision. Every OFF.PACKAGING quote itemizes construction, materials, and finishing.
Sampling takes 1 to 2 weeks from approved design. Brooklyn production runs 4 to 6 weeks from the approved sample; global production runs 10 to 12 weeks by ocean. For a seasonal launch or a new collection release, start the packaging 12 to 16 weeks before the target date.
