Candle packaging

Bought unlit. Sold by the box.

Nobody smells a candle through the box. The candle gets judged by hand instead, and we build boxes that pass that judgment with something to spare.

We design and manufacture rigid candle boxes, folding cartons, gift set packaging, and vessel cradle inserts sized to each candle, plus the bag it leaves the store in.

From single candle to gift set.

A candle is the rare luxury that gets used up. The box is what stays behind, and we build it like it knows that.

Made for the weight.

Candles are heavy. A filled vessel can weigh close to two pounds, and the box has to carry it like it is nothing. We build to the real weight, and the sample you approve gets tested with the real candle.

Paper does the warmth here, and we use the real thing: uncoated and textured stocks from specialty mills, chosen for how they age in the hand.

The fragrance discipline, applied to candles.

Candles are fragrance's closest neighbor, and we build deep in both categories. The fitting precision we bring to a perfume bottle transfers directly to a heavy vessel, and a brand extending in either direction keeps one partner across the whole line.

Q4 is coming. It always is.

Tell us about the candles: the vessels, the collection, the season it ships in. You'll get back how we would build it, and when to start.

Let's Talk

Rigid setup boxes are the standard for premium candle brands: they carry the weight of a glass or ceramic vessel, hold their shape on the shelf, and give the brand real surface to work with. Folding cartons suit lighter candles and higher-volume retail lines. OFF.PACKAGING recommends the format based on vessel weight, material, and how the candle sells.

Yes. Every insert is sized to the exact dimensions of the vessel: diameter, height, and weight. A 9oz glass tumbler and a 3-wick ceramic vessel each get their own precisely sized fitting, and gift sets with mixed sizes get multi-cavity inserts built as one piece.

Our standard minimum is 1,000 units across formats, gift sets and seasonal editions included. PR kits and marketing campaign packaging are the exception and can run lower. If your run sits somewhere in between, tell us the numbers and you will get a straight answer.

Yes. Sophisticated independent candle brands are a substantial part of our work, and the structural depth does not change with the size of the brand: the same fitting precision, the same finishing standard, the same team.

Fall and winter carry most of the candle year, so the calendar is unforgiving. Start 12 to 16 weeks before your ship date for global production, or 8 to 10 weeks for Brooklyn runs. Q4 production slots fill earliest, and the brands that hold their dates are the ones that started in spring.
