About OFF.PACKAGING

Detail Obsessed.

OFF.PACKAGING is a detail obsessed packaging manufacturer and design agency, building for brands to be loved. OFF.PACKAGING operates a packaging factory in Brooklyn, New York. Production runs there and through our global partners, depending on what each project calls for.

Where it comes from.

OFF.PACKAGING started with fifteen years of building luxury packaging on the other side of the Atlantic, for brands that did not accept close enough. In late 2024 that experience moved to Brooklyn, along with the presses and a great many opinions.

Brooklyn was a feeling before it was a plan. It is a borough full of people building something, and it turns out that is exactly the right neighborhood for a place that builds boxes.

We own the factory because we like being in the room where the box gets made. Design and production work in the same building, so a question about what can be built gets answered the same afternoon, usually with a sample.

How we think about a box.

Design is included in every project, and it comes first. Before a single sheet is cut, the box exists as a drawing and as an opinion about how it should open.

We build the ambitious version first, on real paper, within days, because the daring idea is usually more buildable than it looks once design and production share a table.

Say hello.

Tell us what you are making, and what the box has to live up to. You'll hear back with a point of view, and usually with a sample.
